Welcome to the Book Nook community!!

Hello there, my name is Ava and I am 20 years old. I grew up in New Jersey and I am currently a Junior at Penn State. You can find out more about me in the about section of this website!

I am starting a blog! I have always loved books and I wanted to share my love of them with this amazing community. I always would like to share my influence free opinions on the books that I love (and hate) (or both.)

I mostly read fantasy books, YA and New Adult alike, but I also love romance books, particularly spicy books. But I have a lot of recommendations that aren't spicy as well.

Creative writing has been a passion of mine for a long time. I love putting my emotions and opinions onto a page and sharing them, and I hope that this is my chance to do that. I definitely do not claim to be a particularly good writer. In fact, I have pretty bad dyslexia and my grammatical mistakes can be really bad, so feel free to call me out on anything (I probably really need it).

I plan to be as open as I can be in this blog. Sharing my thoughts openly, sometimes word vomiting but it will be entertaining I promise. That means some swearing by the way, my brain is kind of full of swears at all times.

I geek out on books very hard, and I can be very obsessed with some that I really love. I will make it known when I have an attachment to one of these books. It gets to the point where I will speed read a 700 pager in like a day, and pull an all nighter for it. Other times I can get really stuck on a book, and it puts me into a really bad slump. I am hoping that having this blog will help me out of these slumps.

My plan is to post a book review twice a week, and post updates/blog posts every other day, or every day if I feel inspired.

I will have an active forum where everyone can talk about their own opinions on books, give their own recommendations, and meet likeminded people where you can just be yourself. It is something that I really look forward to, and I hope you have the same experience that I hope to have.
